3rd Anniversary Competition Winners

Posted on January 21, 2013

Well – after an extended (yes, we know…a really extended) wait, we’re pleased to announce the competition winners for our 3rd Anniversary Competition.

We’ll be posting a selection of the winning images over the coming week or so, but in the meantime here’s the rollcall of winners:
Category A:  Alastair Cook (Panel of 4 images, winning SmugMug Business account)

Category B:  Dave Johnstone (Single image, winning Loxley 20×16)

Category C:  Duncan Holmes (Single image, winning Calumet Voucher)

Category H:  Les Johnstone (Single Image, winning Athentech Photoshop Plugins)
Runners Up:  Simon Pole & Stephen Philips

Category D: Nicole Abbott
 (Portfolio, winning SmugMug Power Account)

Category E:  Chrissie Red (Single Image, winning Loxley 20×16)

Category F & G (combined)*:   June Long (Portfolio, winning SmugMug Power Account & makeup selection from TreasureHouse of Makeup)

* Category F & G:  We have combined these two categories due to lack of valid submissions for Category G.

We’d like to thank all the SCN Members who took the time to enter – there were some exceptional images entered in all categories.  We must thank you for your patience in waiting so long for the announcement of the winners – it’s unfortunate that the winter months ended up so chaotically busy for the SCN admins and the judges who helped us pick winners.

We must say a massive thank  you to the judges who helped both myself and Barrie with various categories, especially Trevor and Faye Yerbury for judging the photographic submissions, Andy Williams from Athentec, and the staff of Clydebank College Makeup Dept.

Of course, we also must thank the competition sponsors – SmugMug, Loxley Colour, Calumet Photographic, TreasureHouse of Makeup and Athentec – who kindly donated prizes for us.  Their support has been invaluable, and very gratefully received.

Watch this space for the winning images soon…!
